St. Patty's Cupcake Toppers

Do we have any St. Patrick's Day lovers out there? We love a day full of festivities and friends. There are always so many events to attend so we wanted to whip up a treat that would go great with the theme of St. Patty's Day! How cute are these cupcake toppers? We made them to look like a Leprechaun's hat. With a quick and simple recipe, you are sure to love these! What you will need:
  1. Large marshmallows
  2. Green and blue food dye
  3. Black decorating gel
  4. Cake mix and green icing
Mix 2 drops of green and 1 drop of blue dye in about 5 tablespoons of water. Make sure to cover the marshmallow completely in dye. Roll the wet marshmallow on a paper towel gently to remove any excess dye. Next, take the decorating gel and draw on the hat's details. See photo below. Bake up the cupcakes following the directions on the box. Place a marshmallow on top of the cupcakes creating the idea of a Leprechaun's top hat!
