We started in the middle and worked our way to the outside. Choose which material you want to work with first, and secure it to the top by knotting it. Feel free to make your strands as long or as short as you would like. You can also decide whether you want your strands to be in a pattern or random. We thought it would be funky to just go for it and place our materials at random!!
Add some texture by braiding some of the different pieces together!
It can become repetitive, so the more texture the better!
Once you cut your pieces to the length you like, add a feather at the end of select strands! Just secure the feather by double knotting it to the end of your string.
Double up some layers, braid here and there and BAM! There ya have it. SO cute, right? To hang, cut a piece of jute long enough to stretch end to end with enough slack to hang at your preferred length. Then just tack it up!
