Planning a last minute road trip during the holidays? We’ve created a list of the best cities to visit in the U.S. during the holidays (and what to do in each one)! Plus, we’re giving you the inside scoop on the perfect Pura Vida pieces to pair with each city...
No more delays, let’s get right into it:
First up, we have San Diego, California ☀️
San Diego might not be the first city on your mind when you think of the holidays, but if you want a sunny getaway with a holiday touch, SD is the place to be.
- Skating by the Sea: Ever been ice skating on the beach?! We didn’t think so! Head to Hotel del Coronado to hang at their famous beachfront ice rink, and grab a bite to eat while you’re there.
- San Diego Bay Parade of Lights: You’ve seen homes with Christmas lights, but have you seen them on boats? This tradition has been part of SD’s holiday celebrations for years! Over 100K people attend the parade to see 75+ lavishly decorated boats.
- San Diego Santa Run: Want to be festive and participate in a good cause? This one’s for you! You can join for the 5K, or keep it light with a 1 mile run. Not a runner? Spectators and ugly sweaters are more than welcome!
