We don't know about you, but Thanksgiving was a *major* cheat day! 🙈 Now it's time to refuel with this perfect fall protein smoothie bowl that will get you feeling GOOD! 🤗 Here at Pura Vida, we *love* creating delicious recipes that support a healthy and sustainable lifestyle! Follow along to create your own Koia plant-based smoothie bowl that will help power you through the holidays. 🌱
- Koia Protein Shake
- Frozen Bananas
- Sliced Apple
- Chia Seeds
- Almond butter
- Ice Cube Tray
Step 1: Slice 2-3 bananas in halves and place in the freezer until solid! (You can use any frozen fruit of your choice such as strawberries, blueberries etc.)
Step 2: Pour 6oz of the Koia Cinnamon Horchata protein shake in an ice cube tray and place in the freezer until solid. Using frozen shake cubes instead of ice cubes will help enhance the flavor and thicken the smoothie!
Step 3: Add your frozen bananas, Koia shake cubes, and the remaining protein shake to the blender!
Step 4: Gradually blend the ingredients together until you reach a thick consistency!
Step 5: Once you reach the desired thickness, Immediately pour your smoothie into a bowl and add your *favorite* toppings (sliced apples, pomegranate, chia seeds, almond butter, granola and cinnamon... whatever your heart desires!😋)
