Want to add a little bit of sunshine to your wrist? Check out Carly's Club for Pediatric Cancer!
"Carly’s Club exists to offer hope for a cure by funding critical pediatric cancer research at Roswell Park Cancer Institute as well as an extra “dose” of happiness to children and teens diagnosed with cancer and their families through year-round support programs to help meet their emotional and social needs.
Carly's Club was founded by 8-year-old Carly Collard Cottone in 1999 after she was diagnosed with medulloblastoma – an aggressive form of brain cancer – as a way to help other kids who were battling cancer. Even after losing both of her biological parents to cancer and then facing her own cancer battle, Carly faced her struggle against the disease with amazing courage and optimism. Sadly, she lost her hard-fought battle in August of 2002. Little did she know the positive impact that Carly's Club would have on the lives of the thousands of children diagnosed with cancer each year.
The yellow color in the bracelet represents pediatric cancer awareness."
