The water is also excellent for swimming and snorkeling. During the months of May to October, it is possible to watch olive Ridley and Hawksbill sea turtles come ashore to nest. Playa Utiva is a beautiful white sand beach that is incredible for surfing, scuba diving, horse back riding, and kayaking if your more adventurous. Utiva is also packed with breathtaking waterfalls. This "off the beaten path" beach will sure to exceed your expectations. 4. Playa Hermosa Guanacaste Playa Hermosa is located in the Guanacaste region of Costa Rica.
